The Sailors Home in Limerick stood tall for over a century along O'Curry Street. A fine building and a great servant of the arts in recent years. I have many fond memories of exhibitions in this space. Hopefully with time it can be restored to its former glory.
Print available in a variety of standard sizes to make framing easy. Shipped using a reliable courier service with tracking. You will not incur a customs charge.
Text on the print reads:
"Ashes to ashes, place to space. A building that stayed standing out of habit rather than upkeep. Over a century in urban serenity, brought to an end by the lick of a flame. Her intended use never realised, yet as of late, a place to congregate and celebrate"
"A place once before, now a time to restore, then maybe, a place once more"
